Truly the best models on the market. With this particular one, there may be a couple of issues with accuracy. Photos of the rig would tell that. But that doesn't change the quality of the model. These rigs did not have diamond plate on the cab roof and to me this was a major issue. Unless 56 Truck customized their particular truck this way, but I don't remember that. Also, the FDNY lettering on the side upper compartment doors is missing. The actual rig had this lettering. Again, maybe at some point in time, it wasn't there, but I saw this rig all the time and remember it being there. At one point they also had a Rapid Axes logo on the side door but I'm guessing that it wasn't there at the point in time when the reference photos you used were taken. I also assume you spoke with guys who actually worked on this rig. I know you guys take extreme care and pride in accuracy, and I also know that during the War Years, these rigs got changed around alot. Custom paint jobs often got changed around. Very possibly you can show me photos to refute all my comments here and I would welcome that. I would actually rather have it be me that's wrong instead of you. I like to think your models are perfect. I still say you are the best in the business and would continue to be a customer. Thanks. All the best.

If you are you a fan of old school gold leaf scroll work and striping on Fire Trucks, you need to take a look at Fire Replicas FDNY Ladder 56’s, 1972 Seagrave rear mount. None of the extensive graphics for the 1972 Seagrave were missed.
