    The Real Deal

Chicago still trusted the wooden aerial ladder long past other major cities. Here is Fire Replicas' faithful capture of the "wooden stick" with a modern Mack Model B tractor. Once again, fantastic detail, and downright a handsome model to own and show off to your fire buddies! Another wise investment for my collection!

    Return of the Mack

So, I missed out on getting the FWD tillers when they first came out. Let’s just say I was extremely happy to get this Mack tiller. If you missed this one, please take my advice and buy a newly released FWD tiller while you can! The only difference is the cabs...but honestly, the rear half tiller section with the wood ladders is are the best part. This truck replicates how advanced ladder trucks have became today. You can see all the cranks and rope lines perfectly and can visualize how the firefighters set these up back then. The 1960s Mack cab is great at showing off the curves and chrome that started disappearing in the 1970’s on really. True work of art here! Keep up the good work! Makes you wonder with disappointment why Chicago doesn’t still have tillers in their fleet...maybe one day again they’ll be back!
